Mindful with Your Natural Senses
I've recently discovered a simple mindfulness practice that also supports building new behaviours and calming an anxious mind. Do you ever get Distracted, Stuck in your head? Have you ever felt anxious and then maybe you make a thoughtless turn? I know I have been there. So many times.
The pro-tip I want to share is suuuuper simple and helps to feel grounded...
...Tap into your natural senses. What do you see? What do you smell? What do your hands feel? What do you taste? What do you see? Can you hear traffic? Or the wind? Or the cat purring. Are you warm? Cold? Or sitting on an amazingly comfortable couch? What do your hands sense?
The trick is to practice making simple observations. Sans judgement. Just notice. that's all :)
Putting purposeful focus towards the reality of the moment you are in is an excellent way to be mindful, replace anxious behaviours or judgemental thoughts.
Coming back to your breathe helps to ground you. Pair it with the practice of tuning into your natural senses and feel yourself awaken.
All this and more in a "Manifesting Your Mindset" 3 week online Course that is coming soon! Stay tuned or email me at treestarprojects@gmail.com to let me know if you're interested!
